Marie Louise Lacobon, 80, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, May 12, at 2:30 p.m.

She is survived by her six sons, Anthony Lacobon, Tommy Lacobon, Kenneth Lacobon, Paul Lacobon, Tony Lacobon, and Justin Lacobon; six daughters, Yvonne Lacobon, Diana Verdin, Barbara Walden, Carolyn Parfait, Marion Durden, and Rose Schoell; three half-brothers, John Verdin, Lawrence Verdin, Howard Verdin, and Wesley Verdin; three sisters, Eva Cotton, Lillian Verett, and Molvina Lodrigue; four half-sisters, Leah Verdin, Lona Verdin, Josephine Scott, and Mona Liner; 38 grandchildren, and 70 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert Lacobon; her parents, Evan Joseph and Marie Francis Verdin; three brothers, Pierre Verdin, Paul A. Verdin, and Evans Verdin Jr.; two half-brothers, John E. Verdin and Cleveland Verdin; and three sisters, Ella M. Verdin, Florence Trosclair, and Lorena Pennio.

She was a parishioner of Clinton Methodist Church.

Visitations will be 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, May 15, and 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Falgout Funeral Homes in Houma, La. with Religious Services to follow. Burial will be at Grace Christian Cemetery.
