Mark Lee Harper, 46, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of New Orleans, La., died at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, December 3.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Jude Fakier Serra; stepfather, John Serra; father, Wayne L. Harper; stepmother, Anita Harper; two sisters, Diane Harper Carmouche and husband Jimbo and Deborah Harper Christian and husband Phil; stepsister, Jennifer Landry, and husband John; two stepbrothers, Bret Cuneo and wife Penny and Darren Cuneo; grandmother, Hilda Harper; four nephews, Hunter Logan, Carmouche Christian, Harper Christian and Connor Cuneo; and three nieces, Victoria Carmouche, Jade Cuneo and Jannan Cuneo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Flossie Fakier, and Peter Harper; and two cousins, George Cobb and Glenn Fakier.
He was employed with Home Depot in the paint department in New Orleans and was a 1980 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church in Houma with mass to follow. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.
