Mary Ann Tastet Curole, 63, a native and resident of Raceland, La. died Thursday, December 13, 2007.

She is survived by her husband Nolan “Keno” Curole; two daughters, Melissa Ann Curole and Rene Schempp and her husband Scott; four brothers, Anatole Tastet, Jr., Timothy Tastet, Tommy Tastet, and Terry Tastet; two sisters, Janice Gaudet and Rosswella Chiasson; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anatole Paul and Agnes Marie Martinez Tastet, Sr.; one infant son; and one brother, Donald Tastet.

Mary Ann was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary Poitiers Catholic Church. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading. She was a retired teacher in Lafourche.

Visitation is Sunday, December 16, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, December 17, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Hilary Poitiers Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
