Mary Detillier Rogers, 86, a native of Mathews, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., passed away Wednesday, February 4.

She is survived by her husband, Carrol J. Rogers Sr.; sons, Carrol Jr. and wife Marie, Craig Rogers and wife Carol, and Jerry and wife Claudette; daughter, Cathy Robichaux and husband Warren; sister, Gertie French; son-in-law, Ronald Fontenot; 14 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcide and Marceline Matherne Detillier; daughter, Linda Fontenot; brothers, Ivy, Harvey Sr. and Kansas Detillier; sisters, Lena Weeden and Pearly Gaudet; and grandchildren, John Rogers and David Robichaux.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Raceland with mass to follow. Committal will be at the church cemetery.
