May 20, 2014Mary Jane Trahan Naquin, 69, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Dulac, La., died Thursday, May 8, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Simon Jr. and Darren Naquin; daughters, Debra and Norma Naquin; brothers, Joseph and Leffery Trahan; sisters, Vernell Dean, Effie Parfait and Enid Daisy; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Naquin Sr.; companion, Adam Verdin; parents, Adam and Buelah Trahan; daughter, Charlene Verdin; brothers, Linus and Minor Trahan; sisters, Lorrina Marcel, Mabel Lirette and Eula Verret; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at Samart Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Samart)
