Maybelle Cecile Prather, 81, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013.
Ms. Prather was a U.S. Navy nurse corps veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Walter; children, Kimberly and Charles; sisters, Beverly, Yvonne, Sybil and Patricia; brothers, Harold Jr. and Donald; and three grandchildren. (Chauvin)
