Mel Dominic Verret, 44, a native of Bayou Vista, La., and resident of Berwick, La., died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Mechille Verret; parents, Floyd and Juanita Verret; daughter, Deanna Verret; sons, Brandon and David Verret; brother, Chad Verret; and sister, Tulonna Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Althea Verret and Marshal and Edna Saucier.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Hargrave Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 10 a.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with graveside services following at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
