Melba Gautreaux Gisclair, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, December 6.
She is survived by four sons, Robert “Bobby” Voclain, David Voclain Sr., Nathan Voclain Sr. and Dale Voclain Sr.; two daughters, Constance “Connie” Martin and Phyliss Quinones; one brother, Wade J. Price; and two sisters, Myrle P. Carson and Genelee “Jenny” Fazzio; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert J. Voclain Sr.; second husband, Ebdon J. Gisclair; two sons, Albert J. Voclain Jr. and Gary P. Voclain Sr.; five brothers, Louis, Johnny, Edward, Lawrence and Joseph Price; and three sisters, Ramona P. Blanchard, Dinna P. Medice and Leola Naquin.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, December 8, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Francis de Sales #1 in Houma.
