Melvin Wilson, 70, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died Friday, June 20, 2014.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas Wilson; and sister, Delores Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Sr. and Rebecca Wilson; sisters, Elnora Mosely and Irabelle Wilson; and brothers, Ernest Jr., Sterling, Merlin and Robert Wilson and Rufus Fredrick.
Burial is at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson. (Community)
