Merlin “Mule Man” Savoie Sr., 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.
He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Sue Farrell; son, Merlin Jr. (Jill) Savoie; stepson, Garrett (Crystal) Farrell; daughters, Tina (Terry) Voisin and Christina Savoie; stepdaughter, Danielle (Michael) Underwood; brothers, Nelson, Sterling, Murphy and Paul Savoie; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beatrice Savoie; brother, Arthur Savoie Jr.; and sister, Nellie Theriot. (Falgout)
