Merline Monica Duplantis, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
Mrs. Duplantis was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Camille Duplantis Sr.; sons, Keenan (Karen) and Glen (Ellyn) LaJaunie; daughter, Melinda (Cecil) LeBoeuf; brothers, Ronald (Carmen), Eugene “Gene” (Diane) and Lucius “Jay” Jr. (Kendra) and Rodney (Heather) Deroche; sister, Elvina (Mark) Gros; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucius Joseph and Lillian Cunningham Deroche Sr.; and first husband, Raymond LaJaunie.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
