Michael Joseph Rivet, 41, a native of Gheens, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 21.
He is survived by his wife, Dorita Adams Rivet; two sons, Michael and Joshua Guidry; two brothers, Bruce and Lynnwood Rivet; and four sisters, Jean Blanchard, Kathleen Gravois, Patsy Bauier and Judy Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester J. Rivet and Ethel V. Rivet; one brother, Charles Rivet; one sister, Linda Rivet; and grandparents, Felica Tastet and Alexander Rivet, Taylor Verret and Marie Billiot.
He was Catholic.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to T.C.F.H.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Hilary Poitiers Church in Raceland, La., with a memorial service to follow.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
