Michael Louis Denning, 62, a native of Bobstown, Texas, and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, March 22, 2014.
Mr. Denning was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He taught at Lacache Middle and Coteau Bayou Blue. He was Boy Scout for over 40 years and a baseball coach and umpire for TPR.
He is survived by his wife, Deborrah Denning; sons, Charles and Dwayne Daniels and Michael Jr. (Felicia) and Kevin (Chantelle) Denning; daughter, Denise (John) Toups; brothers, Donald, Chuck, Lloyd and Curtis Denning; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Vauldie Denning; son, Erwin Denning; and brother, J.W. Denning. (Chauvin)
