Mildred Wolfe, 85, a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, May 3.
She is survived by her sons, David Wolfe, Sr. and Donald Wolfe; daughters, Wildred W. Miller, Mary Wolfe, Brenda Wolfe and Aver Francois; brothers, Chester Welch and Wilton Michael Welch; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abra J. Wolfe, Sr.; parents, Alzina Brown Soco and Gabriel Welch; son, Spec. Abra J. Wolfe, Jr.; daughters, Winnola W. Diggs, Margaret Wolfe and Benita Robertson; and sister, Louise W. Wolfe.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Community Funeral Home. The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, at St. Lucy Catholic Church. She will be buried at Southdown Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
