Mitzi Markerson Aucoin, 47, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 16, 2014.
Mrs. Aucoin was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Blake Aucoin; son, Andrew Aucoin; daughter, Alexis Aucoin; parents, John Jr. and Joanne Markerson; and brothers, Chris Sr. (Rachelle) and Brad (Rachel) Markerson.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Charlie Markerson and Medric and Mildred Martin; and brother, John Markerson III.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Ibert’s Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Church of the Assumption in Franklin, La., with interment to follow at Franklin Cemetery. (Chauvin)
