February 27, 2012Molly Vedros Savoie, 75, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Keith) Boudreaux; brother, Nilton Vedros; sisters, Edna Adams and Ernestine Bailleaux; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Savoie Sr.; son, Norman Savoie Jr.; brothers, Clifton, Vince, Percy, Richard, Robert, Eno and Freddie Savoie; sisters, Winnie Folse, Lillian Griffin, Evelina Thibodeaux and Mildred Vedros; and grandson, Timothy Guidry Jr.
Burial was at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery in Lockport. (Falgout)
