Mr. Aubrey McLloyd Giroir, 91, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Myers Giroir; sons, Micheal (Paula), Lynn (Diane) and Jerry (Elaine) Giroir; daughters, Corrine Antill, Theresa (Dickie) Webre and Valerie Giroir; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren
He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial at Bayou Black Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
