December 1, 2009Mr. Bermingham P. Hebert, 83, a native of Basile, La., and a resident of Amelia, La., died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl McDaniel Hebert; daughters, Erina Mae Thomson and Yvonne Morrison; sons, Kenneth Sr. (Cyretha), William and Edwin (Becky) Hebert; sisters, Lolafern Dietz and Lillie (Darryl) Comeaux; 17 grandchildren; 17great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
He was a very prayerful man and a devout Catholic. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He had a joy for life and enjoyed French music and dancing. He loved to tinker with things and had a green thumb when it came to his yard. He never met a stranger, always had a smile and liked joking around for a little fun. He loved his wife, children and especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Twin City Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. Andrews Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
