Industrial accident kills Montegut man

Mr. Donald Paul Bourg, 53, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Dulac, La., died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gaston Bourg; parents, Robert P. and Ethel Champagne Bourg; daughters, Nicole (Dustin) Graham and Sarah Beth Bourg; brothers, Francis and James Bourg; sisters, Catherine Boudreaux and Ruth Blanchard; and one granddaughter.
He was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was co-owner of Bourg Marine & Supply, Inc. and was on the Firemen’s Board for the Grand Caillou Fire Department. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid sportsman. He loved spending time with his family and grandbaby. He was loved by all who knew him.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home, and 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
