Ms. Ida Marie Delaune Buquet, 76, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 27.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Alice) Buquet and Kenneth (Tammy) Buquet Sr.; daughters, Ida Ann (Jose’) Ventura and Susan (Justilian) Pellegrin; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Louis Buquet Sr.; mother, Lillian Delaune; son, Harry Buquet Jr.; and two granddaughters.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the church with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La.
