LPSO deputies remembered via bike tour
November 25, 2010Myrtle Ayo Rieve, 80, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Robin) Rieve II; daughters, Jacqueline Gayle (Clifford) Hebert and Kathleen Mary (Bennett Kraus) Rieve; brothers, Sammy and Michael Ayo; sisters, Ethel Boudreaux, Barbara Chiasson and Carmen Boudreaux; eight grandchildren, Christy Hebert Pittman, Cindy Hebert Hays, Kelly and Leigh Rhodes, Randy, Ricky, Rachael and Renee Rieve; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend and caregiver, Mary Henry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Emerson Rieve I; parents, Samuel L. Ayo and Myrtle Jackson Ayo; one brother, Carroll Ayo; and one sister, Joan Babin.
She is buried at Magnolia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
