Newell Solet, 64, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, April 8, 2013.
He is survived by his companion, Louise Matherne; sons, James and Ernie Solet; sister, Mary Authement; and brother, Paul Billiot.
