December 31, 2009Nicholas Danal Gobert, 66, a native of Verdunville, La., and a resident of New Iberia, La., died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia following a long illness.
He was survived by sons; Danal Sr., Christopher, Chad and Kim Gobert; daughters, Dawnene Gobert, Shawn Gobert-Bowman and Glynnette Gobert; sisters, Billie (Frances) and Marguarite Bourgeois, Jeanette Pellerin and Ann Carol Gobert-Wigley; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, La. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m.
Mr. Gobert will be buried at St. Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin.
