Nick Evans Smith, 54, a native and resident of North Carolina, died Thursday, August 7, at 12:30 a.m.
He is survived by his brothers, William F. Smith and Earlie E. Smith; and sisters, Mattie McGinnis, Sharon Herndon and Mary Blaylock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earlie E. Smith Sr. and Dora Smith; and brother, James Rose.
No services are scheduled.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
