Nida Lake Campbell, 92, a native of Terrebonne and a resident of Dayton, Oh., died Sunday, July 27.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Campbell Sr. of Houma, La., and Donald Campbell Jr. of Crestview, Fl.; one daughter, Annette Brown and husband Purcell of Fairborn, Oh.; one brother, Sylvester Ruffin and wife Maude of Texas; one sister, Lillian Thomas and husband Pastor Saul of Houma; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Vance Campbell; her parents, Eddie and Elizabeth Lake; and two sisters, Octavia Jenkins and Rosemary Mills.
She was a member of Residence Baptist Church.
She was buried at Union Benevolent Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
