Nolan B. Plaisance, 77, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
Mr. Plaisance loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild, tending his garden and watching football. He also enjoyed teasing his son-in-law and daughter-in-law.
He is survived by his wife, Neva Plaisance; children, Rickey (Rose) and Natria Plaisance and Dianell (Edward) Reinhardt; stepson, Levy (Suzanne) Bruce; brother, Elton Plaisance; sister, Evelia Curole; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Nattie Bruce; parents, Anaclet and Marie Plaisance; brothers, Forest, Raymond and Ernest Sr. Plaisance; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose. (Samart-Mothe)
