Local lawmakers’ pre-filings a mixed bag
March 25, 2010Nolan J. Duhon, 79, a native of Leroy, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, June Adrienne Vernon Duhon; daughters, LeSherra Amedee and Diana Duhon; sister, Doris Allemand; and grandchild, Leah Amedee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elus Duhon and Louise Abel Hernendez Duhon; brothers, Mabry, Emery and Harry Duhon; and sisters, Nervy Abshire, Bertie McDonald, twin Gertie Duhon, Nola Ransonet and Annabelle Gonzales.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 19, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
In lieu of flowers, donations to defray funeral expenses are appreciated.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
