Nolan Joseph Dolese Sr., 86, a native of Plattenville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Sept. 11, at 11:33 a.m.
He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Dolese and companion Jennifer, and Nolan Dolese Jr. and wife Patti; four daughters, Carolyn McDaniel and husband Jim, Debra Gregoire and husband Nolan, Penny Dolese and Peggy LeBouef and husband Robert; one sister, Joyce Brunet; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Victoria Brunet Dolese; parents, Harry Dolese and Ezora Aucoin Dolese; four brothers, Harry Dolese Jr.; Louis Dolese, Roland Dolese Sr. and Huey Dolese; and one sister, Rosemary Vice.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
