Public input sought on state’s coastal plan
August 8, 2011Nolan Peter Bryant Sr., 84, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Harvey, La., died Saturday, July 30, 2011.
Mr. Bryant was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as an usher at Holy Ghost and St. Matthias Catholic Churches.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Marcella Bryant; children, Kathleen Clay, Lauren Perry, Gwendolyn, Gesele and Nolan Jr. (Sherine) Bryant and Paul Robinson; sister, Jeanetta Marshall; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Laura Bryant; siblings, Charley, Wilmon Sr., Ernest Sr., Edward Sr. and Omega Bryant and Ethel Robinson; grandson, Jason Clay.
Interment was at Providence Memorial Park. (Gertrude Geddes Willis)
