Noltay Clement Richoux, 84, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, Feb. 17, at 7:39 a.m.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Janet Cheramie Richoux; one son, David Richoux and wife, Jackie; two daughters, Charlene Richoux Orgeron and husband, Glenn, and Mary Richoux Cheramie and husband, Ralph; one brother, Dudley “Nanue” Richoux; one sister, Doris Smith; five grandchildren, Jean O. Wells and husband, Brad, Travis Orgeron, Alaina and Leslie Richoux and Ali Cheramie; and two great-grandchildren, Bree Milla and Sawyer Thomas Wells.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Jean Galjour Richoux; five brothers, Wilson, Clifton, Dave, Edison and George Richoux; and infant twin sisters.
He was a retired fisherman. He spent most of his time cooking daily lunches and large Sunday dinners for his family. He lived for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
