Nolty Dantin Sr.

Nolty J. Dantin Sr., 67, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 8:49 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010.

Mr. Dantin was a parishioner of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and a retired offshore boat captain.

He is survived by his wife, Jurina Trosclair Dantin; sons, Curtis (Brandy) and Nolty Dantin; daughters, Tina (Gerald) Georges, Theresa (Keeland) Blanchard and Chantelle (Ernie) Griffin; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Torres and Josephine Dantin; and two brothers, Bobby and Torres “T.J.” Dantin.

He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano, La.
