Norma Virginia Marie Blanchard Walker, 84, a native and resident of Bourg, La., died Sunday, March 29, 10:00 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Everard T. “Bizz” Walker Jr. and wife Patricia, Chad D. Walker and wife Beverly, and Jon L. Walker and wife Annette; daughter, Linette Walker Boquet and husband Robert; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everard Theophile Walker Sr.; parents, Lawrence Frank Blanchard and Emmeline Belanger Blanchard; brothers, Lloyd Blanchard and Bert Blanchard; and sister, Sylvia Blanchard Charpentier.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies K of C Auxiliary in Bourg, the Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary at the Boquet Breaux Post and Texaco Retirees’ Club
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday March 31, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday April 1, at St. Ann Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
