Sgt. 1st Class Norman Brown Jr., 37, a native of Raceland and a resident of Fort Carson, Colo., died Friday, May 28, 2010.
Mr. Brown was an active member of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Carson military base in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy Brown; daughters, Zaenah and Zoee Brown; his father, Norman Brown Sr.; stepmother, Octavia Brown; sisters, Keshon (Quory) Joseph and Jennica Brown.
He is buried at Mount Airy Baptist Church Cemetery in Boutte, La.
