Norris “T-Nor” Cheramie, 83, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013.
He is survived by his son, Daniel (Sherry) Cheramie; daughter, Marion (Rick) Danos; stepdaughters, Margret LeBella and Brenda Terrebonne; brother, Irby Cheramie; sister, Norma Vizier; caregiver and granddaughter-in-law, Chantell Danos; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Cheramie; parents, Torres and Viola Cheramie; son, Curtis Terrebonne; daughter, Gail Cheramie; and two grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Golden Meadow. (Falgout)
