Public input sought on state’s coastal plan

Novella Redmond, 78, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, August 1, 2011.
Mrs. Redmond was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge.
She is survived by her son, Roger Redmond; daughters, Lorraine Dyer, Dora (Kario) Powell, Regina (Carlos) Kemp and Patrice Redmond; sister, Rebecca Joseph; 10 grandchildren; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Redmond; parents, Marshall and Bertha Adams; brother, Ben Adams; and sister, Annie Livas.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Blue Lily Cemetery on Johnson Ridge. (Kennedy)
