Octave Bruce Jr., 74, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Tuesday, March 25, at 6:04 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Rebstock Bruce; his mother, Amy Vegas Bruce; son, Billy J. Bruce; daughters, Penny B. Cheramie and Michelle Y. Bruce; brothers, Eura Bruce Sr. and Norbert Bruce; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Octave F. Bruce.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
