Olen “Nip” LeBoeuf, a native of Montegut, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died as a result of a short battle with acute leukemia Tuesday, April 15, at 1 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Martin LeBoeuf; daughters, Donna LeBoeuf Fonseca and husband, Steven, and Renee LeBoeuf Ledet and husband, Andrew; grandchildren, Andrea Duplantis Stockman and husband, Ron, and her children, Jacob and Sydney; Raegan Duplantis Creppell and husband, Jimmy, and her children, Madison, Kennedy and Carter; Casey Duplantis Price and husband, Randy, and her children, Bailey, Grace and Julia; Hali Duplantis and her children, Jezzy and Jada; Eric Duplantis Jr. and his child, Jackson; Clay Duplantis, Rhett LeBoeuf, Chancey Ledet and Camrey Ledet; and step-grandchildren, Brandon Fonseca and Reagan Fonseca.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oleus and Julianne Hebert LeBoeuf; brothers, Galton, Allie, Norris “Boots” and Harry LeBoeuf; and sisters, Alice “Shug” Mesteyer, Jeanette Belanger and Alma LeBoeuf.
He was a retired Texaco employee, but was better known for his ability to repair anything and his generosity in doing so. He will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Chauvin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. He will be buried at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Montegut.
