Olivia Evans, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, April 25.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffery (Felicia) Williams and Edward White of Houma; brothers, Huey (Doretha) White of Chauvin, La., Henry “Boo” (Jeanette) White and Nathaniel (Eva) White, both of Houma; sisters, Onida Jones of Houma and Clyde Washington of Los Angeles, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olivia and Rev. Nathaniel White Sr.; daughter, Odeth B. Lohr; brother, Clarence Hawkins; sisters, Leontine White Scoby and Odeth Hawkins; and grandparents, Daniel White and Irene Picou White, and Louis Williams and Sarah S. Williams.
She was Baptist.
Visitation will at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at New Rising Sun Baptist Church Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
