Ophelia McClarty, 49, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Centerville, La., died Saturday, March 31, 2012.
She is survived by her mother, Celestine Favors; daughters, Melanie Lumpkin, Latisha and Clara Drexler; son, Kevin Drexler; sisters, Martha Bordelon, Yvonne Menson, Audrey Calhoun, Alisha Kemp and Trisha Mingo; brothers, John III and James, Rufus, Phillip and Vinnie Austin; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Austin; and one grandchild.
Burial was at Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville, La. (Jones)
