Thibodaux Chamber hosts awards banquet

Ora Boudreaux Adams, 88, a native of Chacahoula, La., and a resident of Schriever, La., died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Victor) Michel; son, Kenneth (Tally) Adams; sisters, Myrtle Burns and Louise Malbrough; brothers, John, Eldridge and Louis Boudreaux; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas J. Adams; parents, Charles and Lydia LeBoeuf Boudreaux; son, Nicholas Adams Jr.; sisters, Lydia and Loretta Boudreaux; and brothers, Clifford, Charley, Chester, Elmore, Douglas, Logan and Rivern Boudreaux.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula with the funeral service to follow. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
