Ouida Lasseigne Guidry, 74, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, July 25, at 4:15 a.m. after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her son, Anthony “Tony” and wife Diedra Bruce Guidry; daughter, Kay and husband Hank Kiff; sister, Belle L. Mayon of Morgan City, La.; granddaughters, Jami Rose Guidry and Krystal Kay Naquin; grandsons, Mathew James Naquin, Al Joseph Guidry and Tony James Guidry; great-granddaughter, Isabella Rose Cheramie; and godchildren, June M. Mire and Norma C. Pinch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert A. Guidry; son, James B. “Jimmy” Guidry; parents, Alphonse J. Lasseigne and Ida D. Lasseigne; and sisters, Claudette L. Lefort and Laura L. Cheramie.
She was buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
