
Lafourche Parish committee formed to fix jail woes

Paul J. Thibodeaux, 74, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, April 9, at 3:30 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Leonard Thibodeaux; son, Mickey Thibodeaux and wife Ann; daughter, Tammy Punch and husband Timmy; sisters, Dora Loupe and Thelma Bouffanie; and grandchildren, Toby Thibodeaux, Ted Punch, Ty Thibodeaux, Todd Punch and Tyler Thibodeaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Farlee and Noelie Thibodeaux; one infant daughter; and sister, Helen Bouvier.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Friday, April 11, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. He will be buried at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
