Paul Ordan “Patch” Foret left this earth to be reunited with his beloved wife and his Lord. He marked his 85th birthday September 7, 2008.

Visitation will be held Monday from 9 a.m. to funeral time at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Paul Foret and wife Elaine; his daughter, Sandy Ann F. Ordoyne and husband Michael; his brothers, Benny Foret and Ivy Foret; his sister, Cerita F. LeBlanc; his grandchildren, Matthew Foret, Courtney Foret, Eric Ordoyne and Michelle Ordoyne; his great-grandchildren Kenndi Foret, Madalyn Foret, Grant Foret and Kade Foret.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Olga Degruise Foret; his parents, Pierre Benny and Ella B. Foret; his daughter, Karen Foret; and his brothers, Rhine Foret and Oville Foret.

He was a sugarcane farmer and an avid lover of the earth and sowing its bounty. He was a Catholic and firm believer and example of all God’s goodness.
