Paul “Piche” Orgeron, 69, a native of LaRose, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at 8:25 a.m.
He is survived by his companion, Betty Williams; two daughters, Brenda Bousegard and her husband Duvic and Bridgette Coleman and her husband Bill; one step-daughter, Angie Adams and her husband Greg; one step-son, Dwayne “Be Be” Orgeron, Jr.; three sisters, Irene Scurlock, Melva Bouvier, and Elaine Gisclair; one grandchild, Tycy Orgeron; two great grandchildren, Jansen Orgeron and Brandon Duet; and two step-grandsons, Ross and Ean Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Marie Savoie Orgeron, Sr.; one son-in-law, David Chouest; seven brothers, Julien, Jr., Maurice, Harrington, Alvin, Medwick, Alvie, and Loyman Orgeron; and one step-grandson, Brett Adams.
Paul was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off. He was an avid cook, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making people laugh.
Visitation is Saturday, July 21, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. She will be buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in LaRose, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
