Peggy Poche Madere, 78, a native of Luling, La., and resident of Paradis, La., died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012.
Mrs. Madere was the owner and pharmacist at Paradis Drug Store for 41 years.
She is survived by her children, James Jr. (Shirley) Madere and Monica Bourgeois; and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Madere Sr.; parents, Nolan and Lillian Poche; and sister, Janyce Poche.
Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery in Hahnville, La. (Falgout)
