June 27, 2013Percy John Trosclair, 86, a native of Dulac, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died Monday, June 24, 2013.
Mr. Trosclair was a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed French and old country music and also played the guitar. He was a family man but his life was on the water which led him to a lifelong career as a boat captain traveling all over the world.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anna Mae Trosclair; children, Louis Jr., Darrell and Bobby Boiteaux and Maxine and Donald Trosclair; brothers, Robert and Raymond Trosclair; sisters, Rose Brasseaux and Anna Mae Champagne; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Laurencia Trosclair; brothers, Calvin, Murphy, Albert and Abbie Trosclair; and son, David Boiteaux.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Ibert’s Mortuary with services to follow. Burial will be at Perpetual Park Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
