February 2, 2012Perry J. Cheramie Jr., 26, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 9:56 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.
Mr. Cheramie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
He is survived by his father, Perry Cheramie Sr.; mother, Philomen (John) Schouest; son, Eli Cheramie; brother, Dustin Cheramie; and sisters, Ashley and Janis Cheramie and Johnak Schouest.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Eula Cheramie and Dennis Sr. and Betty Creppel; and daughter, Elizabeth Cheramie.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
