Peter E. Woodward Sr., 72, a native of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and resident of Houma, La., died at 5:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011.
Mr. Woodward was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Fern Woodward; son, Peter Woodward II; daughter, Angela Matthews; brothers, John, Cecile and Chester Woodward; sisters, Rosemary Keelin and Katherine Stover; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Rosa Woodward; and daughter, Ginger Woodward.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma with religious services to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Falgout)
