Phillip A. Autin, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Amelia, La., died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009.

Mr. Autin grew up hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Wilton and Barbara Autin Sr.; brothers, Benny and Wilton (Gerry) Autin Jr.; sister, Lela (Terry) McMichael; nieces; Amy, Sabrina, Kendra; nephews, Bruce, George and Benjy; six great-nieces, Ashley, Harley, Maddy, Michela, Bailey, Cierra; three great-nephews, Caleb, Bryce and George; and godchildren, Cierra, Benjy, Jamie and Joanna.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin and Gertrude Autin McCann and Phillip and Helen V. Ohmer.

He is buried at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Amelia.
