
Sailing museums embark for Houma

February 19, 2012Philoman “P.J.” Joseph Boudreaux Jr., 33, a native of Abbeville, La., and resident of Youngsville, La., died at 11:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012.
Mr. Boudreaux began his baseball career while at Grand Isle High School and continued playing at the University of Mobile-Alabama. He played professional baseball for the Rockies in the Mexican Baseball league and went on to play for the White Sox B League. He was an avid LSU sports fan and above all a very proud dad of all his children.
He is survived by his wife, Jona Boudreaux; sons, Philoman III and Ethan Boudreaux; stepdaughter, Natalie Laborde; parents, Philoman Sr. and Charmon Boudreaux; brothers, Dale (Nanette) and Tate (Barbara) Boudreaux; sisters, Windye Boudreaux and Leslie (Jerry) Stansel; and grandparents, Delvin and Irene Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rickye Brown; nephew, Bradley Betemps; and grandparents, Enoc and Theda Reid.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
